Patronus gets to go a lot of places with us. In the time since we adopted him, he has been on walks and hikes, on many car rides, to parties, in pet stores, and even on trips to the taco truck. He’s a pretty unusual breed of dog, so we’ve gotten used to random people approaching us to ask all kinds of questions about him. With the Boston Marathon right around the corner, spring marathons are on the brain for so many runners. For any runners out there who struggle with allergies and asthma during the spring months, spring training can be a gamble. Few things are more frustrating than spending 12+ weeks training consistently for a marathon or half marathon, perfecting your fueling strategy, and selecting the perfect outfit only to bonk in the race anyway just because the air quality was bad that day.

That’s why I’ve compiled a list of five of my favorite ways to not waste money on things, complete with the pros and cons of each one. Continue reading “5 Ways to Save Money”

Last weekend we got nailed with a snowstorm that brought over 9 inches of snow.
